Diploma in Solar Photovoltaic Technology programme is designed to produce graduates that have knowledge and skills in the field of electrical technology discipline, with specialization in the solar photovoltaic which includes, electrical and electronic fundamentals, electrical power system, electrical installations, and computer aided design while emphasizing the area of specialization. The specialization courses include project management, designing, installations, operation, maintenance, and testing-commissioning as well as monitoring in Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) and Off-Grid Photovoltaic (OGPV) systems.
This programme provides the knowledge and skills in electrical technology that can be applied to a broad range of careers in most solar photovoltaic field. The knowledge and skills that the students acquire from the programme will enable them to participate in the job market as:

b. Photovoltaic Assistant Technical Designer
c. Photovoltaic Technical Executive
d. Technical Supervisor
e. Electrical/Electronic Technical Assistant
